Post Stormy Weather

Still fairly windy out here, but the constant cloud cover and and rain have stopped. The surf is definitely heavier than what I've seen the rest of the summer.

These two were part of a swarming mass of mating bugs just outside our office today. They managed to get in the car with us when we headed off to lunch. Before we could even leave the parking lot these two screwed so hard that they died. Good way to go I guess.


On a different aspect of nature this was my view from my hotel room at the Hilton this morning. Not bad to wake up to I must say. It's still odd watching the sun rise over the ocean instead of set.
