Lions and Tigers and Bears...Not
Made it out to the Old, not the new, the Old LA zoo today. If you weren't there, you suck. ;) It worked out really well once we figured out the grill situation. All the photos I took are up at flickr, only a few sadly. I did a bit of the cooking today so I didn't wander around too much. Next time more wandering and more pictures.

Could you smell any of the past tenants? What kind of 'display' were you BBQ'ing in?

It was a lot of fun. It's funny we weren't that far from the main park which was packed. Yet the spot where we were was relatively quiet. Except for us of course.
As for the cage we were in I'm pretty sure it was a big cat cage or at least some large dangerous animal. The heavy steel gates on pulleys behind the facade kinda gave that impression. More to investigate there next time for sure.
Yes, big fun looked like it was had by all! So I hate YouTube. I tried to leave a comment and the first time it didn't work, so I had to re-type (never as good as the first). Then I tried to make Camarooooooon one of my favorites and that didn't work. I'm lame.
