Version 2.0 In Alpha
So Blogger crapped out in a major way tonight. It's not the first time. While looking for answers to what had happened I discovered some info I was previously unaware of. Google is the owner of Blogger. No news there. However, they have a new version of Blogger in the works and from what I've read so far it's not the best solution.
Now I'm not using Blogger to host my blog. I would have thought that since it was not hosted by Blogger that it would be immune to their service issues and up until tonight that had been the case. So I'm trying out new stuff. Right now I've got Wordpress installed and I'll be seeing how that works for me.
I really haven't suffered too much from Blogger's issues and they do have some features I like. I really like the way the make uploading pictures easy. That will be a feature I'll miss. Anyway expect changes in the coming weeks.
