Voltron Pwned
I grew up watching all kinds of sci-fi cartoons, Robotech, Star Blazers and of course Voltron. To say Voltron kicked some bad guy ass is an understatement. Watching the shows now leaves me less impressed, but I still have fond memories of them from when I was younger.
Today Mr. Risk passed on a great clip. It looks like it came from Comedy Central's Adult Swim stuff, but I couldn't find it on their site so I'm serving it from here for now. Enjoy the geekery. Voltron represent!

Ladies and Gentlemen. This is the coolest thing I have seen in at least 4 weeks. I loved it. And yes, I too played with lame-ass Japanese Sci-Fi toys but not the real ones. My mother, ever the bargin shopper told me she would get a "Space-Man-Robot". I was so excited. She then mentioned something about a guy that "worked the corner" near her law firm. Yes, my law-abiding mother bought me a cheap Twainese knock-off product of Voltron. I loved it. I played with it until it fell to pieces. Our cat hated that thing. I mean, Boots was a black cat and I was 10 with a voltron-type toy. It was meant to be. I tried to explain to the cat that she was not really "the enemy" it was just that my sisters were much larger than me and did not have claws.
Shit I didn't even get the cheap Taiwanese ones. Although I think I was asking for AD&D books at the time these were coming out so 'oops, my bad'.
Dude, I think we went to separate grade schools together. HAHAHA that brought me back to the day when that was the shizzer! Thanks for the great link!
